Drop-In Center Move to New Temporary Location

​​​​​​​The City of Bellingham, in partnership with Whatcom County and Lighthouse Mission Ministries, is working to relocate the Drop-In Center low-barrier emergency shelter facility to a new temporary location from its current temporary location at Bellingham High School. ​

Mayor Seth Fleetwood and the Bellingham City Council have approved a plan to relocate the Drop-In Center to the former location of the Bellingham Public Market on Cornwall Avenue. This action was made final at a special meeting of the Bellingham City Council on June 16. Video recording and summary of the June 16, 2020, special meeting​.
