Lake Padden Park

There is so much to do at Lake Padden Park! This 745-acre picturesque park provides a wide variety of recreational opportunities, including hiking, biking, running, paddling, swimming, horseback riding, and even disc golf and golfing. Experience the sights and sounds of nature while hiking through an established urban forest.  Meander along the lakeside trail and take in the local wildlife. A boat launch is available at the east entrance of the park for those wishing to explore the park from the water. For the athletic crowd, there are multi-use ball fields, pickleball, and a 205-acre award-winning 18-hole championship golf course that also has disc golf. Established in 1972, Lake Padden is a hidden gem located on the south side of Bellingham.

Phase 3 construction will be taking place at the Lake Padden East Roadway on Wednesday, October 25th, starting at 10am. Contractors will be working on installing new concrete curbing along the sides of the roadway. Traffic control will be in place, but park users may experience possible delays of up to 10 minutes as crews work to get equipment out of the way and to open the roadway through the work zone.
