Hidden “GEMS” Tour – August 22, 2012
Whether you have lived in Bellingham for 20 years or 2, come join us for a tour of Downtown’s hidden GEMS (Galleries, Electricity, Museums and Sweets). Each stop will be about 10 minutes, and will include the newly branded Spark Museum of Electrical Invention, Mindport Exhibits, Cedarworks Gallery and Bellingham Railway Museum (all within a 2-block vicinity of the downtown core); as well as, a couple sweet treats from Chocolate Necessities and Bliss Desserts.
20-Minute Living Tour – September 6, 2012
This tour provided an inside look at urban residential living in Bellingham’s Central Business District; what’s currently working, what’s missing, and what barriers exist to achieving increased residential living and job downtown – and examined these issues through the lens of the 20-Minute Living lifestyle.
