June 27, 2018 - New Ordinance Protecting Vulnerable Renters
The City of Bellingham invites local landlords and housing partners to attend the 2nd Landlord Resource Training. Kelly Owen, senior attorney with the Northwest Justice Project, will present on the City's ordinance protecting vulnerable renters and how that will apply to landlords in our community. There will be time reserved at the end of the presentation for questions.
The meeting will be held in City Council Chambers (City Hall), 210 Lottie Street

April 19, 2018 - Free Fair Housing Training
The City of Bellingham was pleased to have hosted Rubai Aurora, a Program Manager with the Fair Housing Center of Washington to help celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Fair Housing Act with a comprehensive presentation. A copy of that presentation will soon be available.
December 12, 2017 - Landlord Resource Meeting
The City of Bellingham, in partnership with Western Washington University's Campus Community Coalition, held its first landlord resource meeting. Presentation topics included the Rental Registration and Safety Inspection Program, Western's Campus Community Coalition, Litter Compliance and an overview of residential landlord / tenant law.
