November 13, 2018 - Fair Housing Refresher for Landlords and Property Managers
The City of Bellingham is providing a workshop to review Federal Fair Housing laws, as well as the City's tenant protection ordinance. This session will be geared toward landlords, property owne4rs, and property managers. If you were not able to attend the Fair Housing workshop in April and/or the tenant protections ordinance information session offered at City Hall in June, this is your chance to get an overview of both of these topics. This session will focus on disability, reasonable accommodations, service animals vs. pets, and source of income discrimination. Time: 2:00pm - 3:00pm at Bellingham Public Library - Central Branch

We will give a broad overview of Fair Housing Law, with special focus on disability, reasonable accommodations, service animals, and source of income discrimination. June 27, 2018 - Landlord Resource Meeting - New Ordinance Protecting Vulnerable Renters
The City of Bellingham was happy to host local landlords, housing partners and community experts at the 2nd Landlord Resource Meeting! December 12, 2017 - Landlord Resource Meeting
The City of Bellingham, in partnership with Western Washington University's Campus Community Coalition, held its first landlord resource meeting. Presentation topics included the Rental Registration and Safety Inspection Program, Western's Campus Community Coalition, Litter Compliance and an overview of residential landlord / tenant law.
