Learn how to make your landscape wildlife friendly

Attend the Backyard Native Flora Fair Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

​All are invited to attend the Backyard Native Flora Fair on Saturday, April 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Fairhaven Village Green. Learn how to make your yard, schoolyard, or place of work into a wildlife-friendly landscape.

The Washington Native Plant Society will be present with common and unusual native plants for sale, as well as experts to help answer questions. The North Cascades Audubon Society will have nesting boxes for cavity nesting birds. There will be an activity and craft booth for children. An educational native plant walk will depart from the Village Green at 1 p.m.

This event is sponsored by the Washington Native Plant Society, North Cascades Audubon Society, and Bellingham Parks and Recreation.
