Proposed parking area for Whatcom Creek Greenway

Whatcom Falls Park Parking and Trail

This facility is a priority in the Parks, Recreation & Open Space Plan, which includes completing missing links in the Whatcom Creek Greenway & Trail system.  It will also provide a small, trailhead parking lot to replace the parking that currently occurs in an unimproved area.

Parks and Recreation will develop a 11-car trailhead parking area and improve trail access from Woburn Street at Whatcom Falls Park.   Amenities include, new driveway, paved parking area, pedestrian walkway, drainage, signage, park benches, and trail between the parking area & the Waterline Trail with grades not to exceed 10-12%.
