Cordata Neighborhood Park Site Development

The City of Bellingham adopted a master plan for this neighborhood park in 2008. Located along the 800 block of Horton Road, this park includes developed trails, picnic tables, benches, and grass meadow.

We are now starting the design and permitting process for additional improvements at the park in  preparation for the future road improvements along the Horton Road right-of-way.

Site development may include a paved parking area, clearing, grading, and underground utility work. This work will inform the design of Horton Road, including establishing the location of utility connections and driveway access from the road. Additional elements of the mater plan may be implemented at a later time.

This park is intended to serve the nearby neighborhoods within walking distance of the site. Design and permitting of a larger community park is planned down the street from this site on a 20-acre parcel located on Cordata Parkway between Stuart and Horton Roads.
