Volunteer Opportunity at Connelly Creek Park2167https://goo.gl/maps/LDokWLi81BT2, 3001 Donovan Avenue<p>Volunteer with the City of Bellingham and the Nookscak Salmon Enhancement Association to restore salmon habitat along Connelly Creek. All are invited to plant native trees and shrubs and remove invasive vegetation beside their neighbors in the heart of the Happy Valley neighborhood.</p><p>​Parking is available at the <a href="https://www.google.com/maps/place/Bellingham+Park+%26+Ride+%28WSDOT%29+West+Side/%4048.7148172%2c-122.4773512%2c603m/data=%213m2%211e3%214b1%214m5%213m4%211s0x5485a18477f52c1d:0x2e84318840786a5d%218m2%213d48.7148172%214d-122.4751572">Bellingham Park & Ride (WSDOT) West Side</a> off of 32<sup>nd</sup> St or near <a href="https://www.google.com/maps/place/2870+McKenzie+Ave%2c+Bellingham%2c+WA+98225/%4048.718992%2c-122.4825776%2c603m/data=%213m2%211e3%214b1%214m5%213m4%211s0x5485a180b24deb33:0xec9e6c7cd2f3acc3%218m2%213d48.718992%214d-122.4803835">2870 McKenzie Ave</a> at the west entrance of the park. Look for our green and blue tents to sign in. </p><p>We’ll bring the tools and gloves – all you have to do is wear sturdy shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. Snacks courtesy of The Bagelry and the Community Food Co-Op. Coffee provided thanks to NSEA’s official coffee sponsor, Tony’s Coffee. </p><p>Bring your friends, family and enthusiasm, and we’ll see you at the creek!
