The hydro-flattened digital elevation model was provided to the City of Bellingham by the Washington State Department of Natural Resources (WADNR) as the city provided a portion of the funding for its acquisition. The survey was preformed by NV5 Geospatial between 09/07/2022 and 02/04/2023.
These topographic contours were created to provide an accurate representation of the ground surface of the bare earth DEM. Some smoothing has been performed to provide better cartographic representation.
