GK/CL MOVED TO AMEND THE HEIGHT LIMIT IN I-2 FROM 42' FOR COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL TO 66' FOR COMMERCIAL AND UNLIMITED FOR INDUSTRIAL USES AND PRESERVE THE 42' VIEW CORRIDOR REPRESENTED BY HASH MARKS ON THE MAP. ML, JW, TB opposed. Mixed recommendation
SF/ML MOVED TO RECOMMEND MOVING THE WESTERN 42' HEIGHT LIMIT LINE WEST FROM MCKENZIE TO LARRABEE STREET AND ADJUSTING THE HEIGHT LIMIT FROM 56' TO 42'. JW, TB, CL, SS opposed. Mixed recommendation.
SF/ML MOVED TO RECOMMEND REMOVAL OF THE REDUCTION AREA REPRESENTED BY HASH MARKS IDENTIFYING A VIEW CORRIDOR AND RAISING THE HEIGHT LIMIT FROM 42' AT 56'. The motion carried 7-0.
ML/GK MOVED TO RECOMMEND DIRECTION THAT STAFF REVIEW ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT MATERIALS SUBMITTED BY CITIZENS DURING THE FAIRHAVEN NEIGHBORHOOD PLAN DEVELOPMENT AND CONSIDER IT WHILE DEVELOPING THE CITY'S ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CHAPTER OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN. TB, CL, SS opposed. Mixed recommendation.
GK/JW MOVED TO RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE MAIN MOTION AS AMENDED. The motion carried 7-0.
