DIRECTION TO COUNCIL TO EACH PROVIDE FURTHER COMMENT TO THE POLICY ANALYST FOR FURTHER DISCUSSION AT THE PLANNING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT WORKSESSION SCHEDULED FOR MAY 4, 2012 @ 9:00 AM IN THE MAYOR'S BOARDROOM.
None submitted Council Planning Committee Retreat & Council-Administration-Department Head Retreat

Jack Weiss reported that the Planning and Community Development Committee would be holding a retreat on May 14, to prepare for the City Council-Administration-Department Head Retreat. Policy Analyst, Mark Gardner, is working on a list of Council priorities to use as a tool for discussion of the budget for 2013 as well as work planning for City Departments and Council. Mr. Gardner reviewed the list. Council Members were asked to review the list and to give input as to items each Member supports or opposes.

Mayor Linville explained that the purpose of the Council-Administration-Department Head Retreat would be to inform the development of a City strategic plan with Council input and to understand the financial picture.

Marina Advisory Committee Meeting

Gene Knutson conveyed that at the meeting of the Marina Advisory Committee Meeting, Neil Clement reported the Port Staff was complimentary regarding the City Fire Department response to the Port fire.
