Gene Knutson referred to an email request by Instructor Lee Einhorn asking for City officials to attend a presentation of students' group Civic Engagement Projects proposing solutions to City issues. He expressed that while he could not attend due to a conflict, he hoped other Council Members would be willing to go. Jack Weiss and Stan Snapp volunteered to contact the instructor and arrange to be there.

2013 City Council Meeting Schedule

The proposed schedule of Council Meetings for 2013 was distributed. Mr. Weiss proposed contacting the Planning Department to determine if there would be any adverse effect on the Comprehensive Plan updates and Neighborhood Plan Amendment work if the Council met on August 5th and August 12th and not meeting again until September 16th. Council approved the schedule as amended if the Planning Department indicated it would not be a problem. The Resolution Setting meeting dates will come forward on December 3rd for approval.

At 2:52 PM Council President Bornemann adjourned the meeting to Executive Session to hear the following:
