APPROVAL OF MINUTES

PUBLIC MEETING(S):

1. PROJECT: Installation of a temporary 160-foot tall meteorologic tower for the purpose of collecting data for potential future wind-power generation. Tower includes 4 anchors for 24 guy-wires for support. LOCATION: 300 West Laurel Street. Generally located adjacent to the historic GP Log Pond on Parcel # 380236 496526. CBD Neighborhood, Area 15. Urban Maritime Shoreline Designation. APPLICANT: Port of Bellingham, 1801 Roeder Avenue, Bellingham, WA 98225. Contact: Adam Fulton; 676-2500.

2. PROJECT: Moorage of a mobile and submersible dry-dock vessel to an existing pier. This mobile dry-dock vessel does not require any moorage pilings or anchors meaning it is not a permanent structure. The subject vessel is able to transport vessels in need of repair to the Fairhaven Shipyards facility. The subject vessel has a control tower at the aft end and two crane-towers on each side of the bow. The vessel also includes a self contained storm and wastewater treatment system. LOCATION: 201 Harris Avenue; Fairhaven Shipyards. Area 1B, Fairhaven Neighborhood, Urban Maritime shoreline designation.

3. PROJECT: Development of a wood frame duplex approximately 3,450 square feet (sf) in size on an approximate 16,380 sf lot. LOCATION: 3045 Eldridge Avenue. Parcel # 380223 426108. Birchwood Neighborhood, Area 17. Residential Multi, Duplex. Urban Shoreline Designation. APPLICANT: Tom Lingbloom, contact; 360-410-6460.
