PUBLIC MEETING

1. SHR2006-00001: A public meeting to consider a request for a Shoreline Permit for conversion of a 35-acre former gravel mine and concrete plant to a community park in multiple phases. Phase 1 is the only phase within shoreline jurisdiction. It includes construction of a baseball field, demolition of existing site structures, grading, fencing, drainage, irrigation, and other infrastructure installation, construction of a public restroom, gravel walkways, parking, access drive improvements, stormwater management utilizing Low Impact Development techniques, and other site improvements.

Anyone wishing to comment may send them to the Planning and Community Development Department, City Hall, 210 Lottie Street, Bellingham, WA 98225. Written comments will continue to be received through 5:00 p.m. June 8, 2006
