CALL TO ORDER
ROLL CALL:
Historic Preservation Commission Members: George Volker (Chair), Rod Burton, Dave Christensen, Marilyn Mastor, Sean Walbeck, Curt Carpenter, Sarah Campbell, and Jim Talbot.
PUBLIC HEARING(S):
1. A request for a Certificate of Alteration to replace three existing marquee signs on the Mt. Baker Theater with signs using full color motion graphics. The theater is located at 104. N. Commercial Street in the CBD Neighborhood. Applicant: Myron Carlson, Public Works Department, 360-778-7830 for the Bellingham-Whatcom Public Facilities District File Number LMK2008-00005. OTHER ACTIONS:

NEW BUSINESS:
3. Discuss nomination of the former Georgia Pacific and Granary Buildings to the Local and National Historic Register.
4. Discussion of a public information statement on Historic Preservation and the Waterfront.
