    Director’s Report and Highlights

    December 18, 2007 Bellingham Public Library

    Please note:
    Bellingham Public Library Board of Trustees meet
    at 3:15 p.m. in the Library’s lower level meeting room.


    Headlining our meeting will be an hour-long discussion with members of the consulting team who are working with us on our Library Building Program: Thomas Hacker, Kacey Jurgens, Robin Wilcox, and Brad Cornwell. The discussion will be an opportunity for the consultants to provide for the Board an overview of the process so far, and to talk about next steps.

    And, a huge welcome to Mayor Dan Pike, who is attending the meeting. This is a great opportunity to continue to update Mayor Pike on the work you have been doing on behalf of the library.

    Our meeting is largely devoted to this important agenda item. We do have some regular business that needs to be taken care of, too, so please review the rest of the agenda for issues to be discussed:

    · Annual Board Elections for Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson
    · Determination of 2008 library closures in addition to regular City Holidays
