Some highlights of the Library Board meeting agenda:

Financial report
Our Bellingham Public Library Fund at the Whatcom Community Foundation has not been immune to the current economy. In your packet is our fund report for July 1 – December 31 2008.

Trustee education
Staff members Madeline Sheplor and Bethany Hoglund will walk you through our new library website, and show you how the online meeting room reservations program works.

New Central Library – site review
Faye, Vicky, and I will have a report for you of a brief meeting we had on March 12.

Fairhaven Branch
We will provide a progress report on the repair and renovations project.

User survey
Nearly 3,000 people took the time to fill out a library survey either online or in person during February! We will have preliminary results available for your Board meeting, and will discuss possible actions to take in response to those results.
