15.04.080 - OWNERSHIP AND CONTROL
The ownership of all water, sewer and surface and storm water mains and appurtenances in the public streets or other utility easements owned by the City is vested solely in the city, and the person responsible for the construction of such mains shall furnish a deed of conveyance for such mains upon acceptance by the Department of Public Works. The department will operate and maintain all approved and accepted mains in established city and county streets or other utility rights-of-way. It shall be a misdemeanor to remove or change any part thereof without the approval of the department. [Ord. 10056 §3 (part), 1990; Ord. 8982 §8, 1981]
