20.36.110 - GENERAL USE REGULATION
A. Pollution standards set up by any regional, state or federal pollution control boards or other applicable bodies shall apply to all uses. B. The Fire Marshall of the City of Bellingham shall be appraised by the owner of any storage, handling, shipping, or manufacturing of any dangerous or hazardous material and shall have the authority to place any necessary restrictions thereon to insure public safety. C. New residential buildings and uses shall be prohibited except as an accessory use to provide quarters for a night watchman or caretaker, or as permitted in a Residential/Industrial Overlay District as shown on Figure 27.
