Chapter 56 WEIGHTS AND MEASURES

6.56.110 - POTATOES

A. A standard sack of potatoes in the city shall contain 100 pounds net weight, and a standard sack of potatoes need have no statement of the weight of its contents.

B. Whenever potatoes are sold by the sack, in sacks containing more or less than the standard, such sack shall be labeled in plain English words or figures with its true net weight.
