6.17.010 - PURPOSE OF PROVISIONS
A. This chapter is enacted to provide comprehensive cable television regulations to govern the franchising and operation of cable television systems within the City of Bellingham, Washington. B. Any conflict between the provisions of any franchise and any other present or future lawful exercise of the city's police powers shall be resolved in favor of that provision which, in the opinion of the City Council, provides the greater benefit or protection to the city.
