Partnership Profile

The City and Port of Bellingham are co-sponsors in this project, and appointed five members each to serve on the Waterfront Futures Group. Together, these ten members appointed an eleventh member. The project director is a city employee housed at Port offices. Two planning commissioners serve as liaisons to the Group.

  • The Inter-local Agreement outlines the partnership between the City and the Port. (need a link to the PDF of the document – WF provides)
     
  • The Scope of Work for the project was approved by the City Council and the Port Commission on May 5, 2003. (need a link to the PDF document – WF provides)
     
  • Learn more about the Group members and how to contact them. These eleven members and the two Planning Commission liaisons serve on a volunteer basis. The Director and an assistant are employed for the project’s duration.
     
  • Funding for the project is $250,000 from each of the co-sponsors.
