The Bellingham Police Department has three Officers assigned full time to each of the three High Schools in the Bellingham School District. They are an integral part of the community resources committed to our schools.
The School Resource Officers provide instruction in a wide variety of areas such as: substance abuse prevention, conflict resolution without violence along with a variety of classes that are teacher requested. Our goal is to equip our students with the skills needed to contribute to a community environment that is drug and violence free.
As parents, community leaders, and law enforcement officers we can effectively prepare our students to make positive choices in dealing with the challenges of life.
