
The Padden Duathlon 1/3 Less Race is a fun inexpensive event on a great course.
$15 pre-registration (on or before July 17) --- $20 July 18 to day of race.

Road Bike Duathlon: Run 2.6 miles, Bike 14.5 miles, Run 2.6 miles – Start: 9a.m.
We’ll mostly need volunteers to help direct traffic and participants, but we’ll also need assistance with timing, set-up and take down. We’ll need help between about 8:30 a.m. & 2:00 p.m. All or part would be much appreciated. Contact Lance Romo at the Arne Hanna Aquatic Center or via Lromo@cob.org
The first run is a counter clockwise lap around Lake Padden. The half flat, half rolling hill limestone path is on relatively joint friendly crushed limestone.
The bike leaves Lake Padden and circles beautiful Lake Samish then comes back to Lake Padden and transition.
The second run is a clockwise lap around Lake Padden.
Yes, participants must be finished by 2:00 p.m.
The transition will be the near the ball fields and in front of the rest rooms. Non-participants must stay out of the transition area at all times. For safety reasons participants must stay off their bikes in the transition area.
Results, and a prize drawing will follow the Padden Road Bike Duathlon at approximately 2:30 p.m.
Results and prize drawings for both the Padden Mt. Bike Duathlon and Padden Road Bike Duathlon will follow the Road Bike race at approximately 2:30 p.m.
