 Waterfront District Documents

The Planning Commission completed their review and considerations of the Draft Subarea Plan, Draft Development Regulations, Draft Design Standards and Draft Planned Action Ordinance on June 6, 2013 by approving 7-0 the Findings of Fact, Conclusions and Recommendations - which recommended approval of the proposal, as amended, to the City Council.

The Planning Commission worked through the Waterfront District proposal at ten meetings from March 14 through June 6, 2013. All documents and public comment can be found on the Planning Commission process page; and the additional meeting materials, including the minutes, audio and video of each meeting are linked to the Planning Commission meeting materials page.

City Council Meetings

Staff presented an overview of the proposal to City Council on July 15 and the City Council held a public hearing on August 5. Video and materials for those meetings are available on the Council Meeting Materials page. The Council is expected to consider the plans in a series of work sessions through the summer and early fall, with the goal of completing its works before the end of 2013.
