Please contact the Permit Center for more information.
The function of the City’s Inspection Scheduling System is to provide contractors and home owners a method to schedule, reschedule, or cancel building inspections by phone and web. In addition the system provides users the ability to get inspection results.
Both systems provide the ability to schedule, reschedule, and cancel inspections as well as review inspection results and review inspection history. The web application provides users the ability to enter specific inspection requests such as phone contact number or specific inspection requests or instructions. The phone application allows users the ability to leave voice mail for the inspectors to detail specific inspection requests or instructions.
You can review a list of all currently scheduled inspections, review and print all inspection history, and retrieve general permit information (site address, status, description of work etc.). This system will also allow users to reschedule or cancel inspections.
Results for today’s inspections are typically posted at the end of the day and are available for reference either by phone or web.
In order to schedule an inspection or lookup inspection history you must have a permit number. The permit number and the specific inspections are located on your issued permit.
The Inspection Scheduling System generates a confirmation number. This number provides a way to confirm that a request has been completed.
Inspections for all building, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical can use the Inspection Scheduling System. This system does not allow inspection scheduling for Public Works, Stormwater, or Planning permits.
Tentatively the Fire Department inspections will be incorporated into the Inspection Scheduling System on July 1 2007. For Fire related inspections requests please continue to call (360) 676-6832.
All inspections for the affected day will be cancelled by staff. All inspections that are cancelled must be schedule again by the contractor or home owner. Inspections cancelled by the City will require users to initiate a new inspection request rather than a reschedule.
