The Small and Simple Grant Program was created by the Mayor's Office to fund projects that demonstrate city-wide benefit and encourage community engagement. There is a competitive application process and project awards typically range from $1,000 - $2,500. Applications for Small and Simple Grant projects are not being accepted at this time. A capital facilities development grant program targeting lower-income
neighborhoods, the Neighborhood
Initiatives Program was designed to help larger projects such as
neighborhood parks and trails. Although this program is not currently
funded, several projects are still underway.
