Over the next 20 years, around 62,000 people are expected to move to Whatcom County. That's a nearly 40% increase over today’s population! How can residents sustain or improve the quality of life they currently enjoy? The Bellingham Community Forum on Growth Management was designed to help meet this challenge.

Cosponsored by the City of Bellingham, Whatcom County and the Whatcom Transportation Authority, the forum highlighted and gathered feedback on creative, localized options for Bellingham’s future. Results will influence updates to the City of Bellingham’s Comprehensive Plan and Whatcom County's Urban Growth Area (UGA).
