The public has been invited to comment throughout the Waterfront District planning process. Much thoughtful public comment has been received at public meetings, open houses, and through the City of Bellingham and Port of Bellingham's websites. People have taken the time to engage in the process and share their many thoughts, dreams, and opinions. These comments are compiled and documented below each month. The Waterfront Advisory Group was appointed by the City of Bellingham and the Port of Bellingham to provide advice and direction on the future of the entire Bellingham waterfront. One of the group’s key responsibilities is to oversee the public involvement process for the waterfront redevelopment project.

Waterfront planning materials and copies of video presentations are also available at the Bellingham Public Library.
