The Port and City analyzed the comments and recommendations from the public, the Waterfront Advisory Group, the Planning Commission, consultants, staff and elected officials to adapt earlier site plan alternatives into a new Draft Framework Plan. This new plan, while not the final Master Plan, is the next step in the development of a plan for this redevelopment project. This plan is an illustration of the assumptions used for the Financial Modeling found on the Finances and Economics page. Because this 220-acre project will take decades to complete, the Draft Framework Plan and the Financial Modeling illustrate development potential in 2016 and 2026.
Numerous community meetings will happen in 2006 and 2007 as the Master Plan is created. See Public Involvement page for more details.
The Draft Framework Plan includes many concepts that were proposed by the community (PDF) during earlier plan development.
