The sessions will be held at the Fountain Community Church, 2100 Broadway, on September 12, September 30 and October 8, 2009 from 6:00 - 9:00 PM
In the last Fountain District Urban Village Public Input meeting, in May 2009, participants identified concerns with several issues that had the potential to affect the long-term commercial and private residential investment and quality of life in the Fountain District Urban Village. Primary concerns included:
Meetings will include a presentation of the Historic Resource Survey results, completed by Artifacts of Tacoma, and will be conducted in a "brainstorming design" format facilitated by RMC Architects of Bellingham. A parking study was completed over the summer, and will be incorporated into the draft plan which will be presented to the public in Winter 2010.
Property owners and residents of the two focus areas, are encouraged to attend the meetings and provide input, ideas, and feedback.
