The City Council adopted the Critical Areas Ordinance (CAO) on November 21, 2005. This ordinance outlines the specific rules and regulations regarding development near wetlands, streams and other environmentally sensitive areas.
It went into effect on December 6, 2005. The CAO replaced the Wetland and Stream Ordinance.
