February 13, 2009: Effective date of annexation to the City of Bellingham, WA.
December 8, 2008: The Bellingham City Council approved the annexation request.
Sept. 11, 2006: Bellingham City Council held a public
meeting to consider the annexation petition and voted to initiate the
annexation process.
July 20, 2006: Owners of property in the proposed
annexation area submitted the required 10 percent petition for annexation to
the City of Bellingham.
June 27, 2006: A neighborhood meeting was held at
Kulshan Middle School, attended by approximately 20 property owners and
residents from the proposed annexation area and the adjacent neighborhood.
