The proposed Cordata Park Annexation includes approximately 20 acres. The area is adjacent to Bellingham City Limits with three sides (the north, south, and east) sharing a common boundary with the Guide Meridian / Cordata Neighborhood, and private properties forming the west boundary. The annexation would allow for the city to develop a  neighborhood park and trail corridor to serve the existing and future residents within the surrounding area.
