Aestreet.shp is an arc shape file which contains the City of Bellingham's Street data. Note: This shape file should be used if ArcExplorer is being used.
The Arc Attribute Table stores the centerline and arterial data. The direction of the arc corresponds to the low and high address ranges. The address ranges represent real addresses and estimated address block ranges. Note: Only item fields of interest are shown in table below. All internal fields have not been described.

The aestreet shape file was created from three different sources. Tiger data, 911 data, and the converted centerlines from the original AutoCAD file were merged together to create the street coverage and its data. New information is entered when new plat information is received. The centerlines are either digitized in to fit the right-of-way.
