Pursuant to Bellingham Municipal Code 14.18, the following categories of service require that Living Wages must be paid to eligible employees by the contractor and subcontractors if the contract is over $10,000 in a 12-month period, the contractor has been in business for more than one year, and the contractor employs more than four employees.
The employee is considered an eligible employee if the following criteria are met:
Living Wage amounts effective July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2016:
$12.89 with Health Benefits
$14.81 without Health Benefits
Living Wage amounts effective July 1, 2014 to June 30, 2015:
$12.72 with Health Benefits
$14.62 without Health Benefits
