Project Overview: ER-012

This project is designed to reduce flooding on Roeder Avenue while providing improved fish passReoder Bridge Pre-constructionage and bicycle and pedestrian enhancements. The City of Bellingham has joined a local agency partnership with the Port of Bellingham, Department of Natural Resources, and the Department of Ecology.  The reconstruction of the bridge will include pedestrian and bicycle improvements while a section of sewer main will be replaced with a siphon.

Status - February 2012

Accomplishments:  Soils testing complete. Met with consultant on 2/6/12. to discuss phasing plan on final design concepts.

Next Milestones: Proceed with 60 percent design and re-route for internal comment. Complete interlocal agreement with the Port of Bellingham for management of the project.
