This
project will replace three culverts as part of the 2006 bridge maintenance
report. The bridge and bridge approach will include full curb, gutter,
sidewalk and bike lanes. The project will coordinate
with the Bay to Baker Trail and future road improvements.
Road Improvements will include a continuous left-turn lane, sidewalks, street trees and street lights near Sunset Pond Park and north to Orchard Street
Accomplishments: 90% plan/specification submittal due the week of 04/09/12. NEPA draft permit documents currently being reviewed. Signed contract with Greenroads for certification process for Orchard Street to Sunset Park including the bridge replacement. Construction will be delayed until 2013 so that the timing can be better coordinated with creek relocation.
Next Milestones: Finalize design plans/specifications. Incorporate "green" components to the project through the materials specified. 90% plan submittal.
