Property owners formed a Local Improvement District (LID) to fund a new sewer line in an existing area of the City currently served by septic systems. The project includes approximately 1500 feet of sanitary sewer main, located on 34th Street north of Donovan Street. Over 20 homes will be connected to the sanitary sewer upon completion of the project. Local improvement districts are formed by property owners to provide a mechanism to fund improvements over an extended period of time.
Accomplishments: Final assessment hearing held on 9/21/11. Public feedback very positive. Close out project.
