Fraser Street Pedestrian and Bike Improvements Phase III

Project Overview: ES-0386

Phase 3 will construct bicycle lanes, curb, gutter and sidewalks on Fraser Street from Puget Street to the Regency Court Apartments. Project is the last phase of a multiphase effort in this region. The purpose of this project is to provide for increased safety for pedestrians and bicycles on this busy arterial corridor. This project received the 2009 American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Outstanding Award for Transportation and Development from the Seattle chapter.

Status - February 2010

Accomplishments: Street light installation complete. Contractor began restoration work.

Next Milestones: Wetland mitigation and final inspection.
