A three-mile trail that runs along Whatcom Creek from Maritime Heritage Park to Bloedel Donovan Park. New construction to date includes ADA ramps at Commercial and Grand Streets, trail sections from Dupont St. to Railroad Ave., Racine St. to Superior St., a trail connecting trail segments in Whatcom Falls Park and a new bridge near Electric Ave. Trail upgrades include replacement of failing retaining walls and stairs between Maritime Heritage Park and Grand Ave. Remaining improvements include the link between Racine St. and Railroad Ave.
