Vandalism Notice

Phase Three of Squalicum Creek Park recently began. Construction fencing and a metal gate to block the driveway has been installed, paid for with Greenway Levy project funds.

A few days ago the metal gate at the entrance into the park was found damaged and opened, and 150 feet of construction fence was destroyed. The contractor reported the damage to the police department and restored the fence and gate. The Contractor has installed additional signage along the orange construction fence to increase public awareness of the construction project and to keep a look out for unlawful activities.

If anyone sees any unlawful activities (I.E. vandalism) occurring in the park, please call 911 to report the activities to the Police Department.

Thank you for your assistance in this matter. We hope you are looking forward to enjoying the new park facilities after construction is completed.
