Court files and records are exempt from the Washington Public Disclosure Act pursuant to a decision of the Supreme Court of Washington. However, Bellingham Municipal Court Local Rule 14 (PDF) provides that most court files and records are subject to public inspection and/or copying, with some exceptions.
