The 29th Annual National Night Out Against Crime is scheduled for Tuesday August 7, 2012, and the Bellingham Police Department is now accepting event registration for this popular neighborhood program.
Each year’s National Night Out Against Crime events involve citizens, law enforcement agencies, businesses, neighborhood organizations and local officials from more than 15,000 communities nationwide, including Bellingham. In all, more than 37 million people participated in National Night Out activities in 2011.

If you live in Bellingham and want a representative from the Police Department, Whatcom Dispatch (911) Center, Office of Emergency Management or Whatcom County Humane Society, register your event as soon as possible. Guest speakers are limited so make your request early. The first 10 registered events will receive a free National Night Out 2012 BBQ apron and banner.
