New and returning City elected officials take office
The City of Bellingham welcomes two
new and three returning elected officials in 2012:
- Kelli Linville
begins her first four-year term as
Bellingham Mayor.
- Jack Weiss
begins his second four-year term as
Bellingham City Council member, representing the 1st Ward.
- Cathy Lehman
begins her first four-year term as
Bellingham City Council member, representing the 3rd Ward.
- Terry Bornemann
begins his fourth four-year term as
Bellingham City Council member, representing the 5rd Ward.
- Seth Fleetwood
begins his second two-year term as
Bellingham City Council member, in the At Large position.
The Whatcom County Auditor certified the results of the 2011 General
Election on Nov. 29, 2011.
A ceremonial swearing-in event for all new and returning positions will
be held at the first regular Bellingham City Council meeting of the year,
scheduled for 7 p.m. Jan. 9, 2012.
