The Bellingham City Council recently adopted goals for 2007, choosing priorities to achieve the City's mission of supporting safe, satisfying and prosperous community life by providing the citizens of Bellingham with quality, cost-effective services that meet today’s needs and form a strong foundation for the future. Adopting goals each year helps ensure the City’s limited resources are used efficiently and effectively, helps City officials measure success, and helps communicate the many ways in which the City's programs and services fulfill the City's mission.
