Small Neighborhood Project Grants Available

Neighborhood and community organizations have the opportunity to apply for funds for special community projects through the city’s Small and Simple Projects Fund.

The Small and Simple Projects Fund provides reimbursements of up to $2,500 to selected organizations to complete projects beneficial to the entire community.

Past grants have supported projects such as downtown special events, neighborhood tree plantings, holiday festivals, art exhibitions, music performances and more.

Deadline for applications is February 24, 2006. Applications are available on the city’s website (PDF) and at the Planning and Community Development Department, City Hall, 210 Lottie Street, Bellingham. For more information, call Planning and Community Development at (360)676-6982.
