The Bellingham Police Department will initiate enhanced enforcement efforts to control underage drinking, loud parties, alcohol-related crime, and disorder issues in Bellingham’s neighborhoods.
Bellingham Police Chief Randy Carroll said extra emphasis patrols in certain areas will help make sure adequate personnel are directed toward preserving the quality of life people in Bellingham neighborhoods expect and deserve.
Extra patrols will coincide with college and high school schedules, targeting neighborhoods around WWU, downtown, and other places where alcohol-related crimes tend to occur.
