APPLICANTS SCREENING STATUS RESULTS FOR:

FLEET MECHANIC III 


Thank you for your interest in employment with the City of Bellingham. Applications have been reviewed for the the position of Fleet Mechanic III. Please review the table(s) below and look for your Candidate ID # and status.

Step 1
Minimum Qualifications Review - Those meeting the qualifications will move on to Step 2. Status was posted 11/4/09.

Step 2
Experience and training scores will be posted below by 11/10/09.

Step 3
Minimum Qualifications Test — Based on the Experience and Training Questionnaire scores, the top scoring fifteen (15) will be invited to the Minimum Qualifications Test on November 16. This is pass/fail. Scores will be posted by November 18.

Step 4
Candidates that pass will move on to Performance Exercises and Oral Board Interviews on November 30. Invite letters to candidates will be mailed during the week of November 18. Scores will be posted by 12/2/09.

Step 5
A ranked list of candidates that participated in the oral board interviews will be forwarded to the Department for consideration and final interviews. Candidates may be contacted by the Department to schedule an interview. Interviews are scheduled for some time the week of 12/14.

Candidates are encouraged to check their applicant status throughout the process. It is the applicants' responsibility to check the applicant status on our website in a timely manner, as applicants have five (5) days from the date the examination results are posted to file a protest as stated below. A candidate may
challenge the scope, content, or method of an examination or test or, challenge the scoring of an examination or test, failure of the candidate on any part of an examination, or clerical error in examination results of any examination or test. The Examiner shall consider all timely filed protests and make appropriate corrections
if an error is demonstrated.

The register will remain active for a period of six months. During this time, if an additional vacancy occurs, the list of candidates will be forwarded to the Department for further consideration.
