The City of Bellingham Hearing Examiner will hold a public hearing to take testimony on the following proposals:

1. CUP2014-00004: Conditional Use Permit request to remodel a garage into a bedroom, increasing the number of bedrooms in an existing duplex from two to three. The property is located at 2210 Wilson Street, and legally described as Lot C Happy Court Short Plat. Eric Larson, owner/applicant. Residential Single Land Use Designation. 2. VAR2013-00030: Variance requests to allow construction of additions and alterations in the front and side yards of an existing single-family home. The property is located at 606 12th Street, and legally described as Town of Bellingham Lot 16 Block 13. Fred and Mary Harrington, owners/applicants. Residential Single Land Use Designation. South Hill Neighborhood, Area 4A.

The full applications are available for viewing at the address listed below. Staff reports will be available at the Planning Department approximately one week before the hearing.

You may comment on the proposal by sending written comments to the Planning Department, City Hall, 210 Lottie Street, Bellingham, WA 98225. All written comments should be received during office hours before the hearing, or you may submit them at the hearing if you include an additional copy for the recording secretary. You may also request a copy of the Hearing Examiner’s decision and your appeal rights.
